A Literary Tour in London
From Chaucer to Dickens, Shakespeare to Virginia Woolf, London has provided inspiration (and home) to some of the English language's greatest writers. London is a unique city with a lot of historical significance.

1. British Library
The country's greatest book repository, in this vast permanent collection you can view the original manuscripts of some of the best writers, including Jane Austen, Charlotte Brontë, and Keats.

Nowadays it is a posh area of London by once upon a time this place was considered as cheap place.
3. Charles Dickens Museum
There is a display of Dickensian in the great author's only surviving London house. The address of the museum is 48-49 Doughty Street, London WC1N. There are many things related to dickens still intact.
This building was going to be demolished by 1923 but the fellowship of Dickens saved it. The best attraction of this museum is Dicken's Dream by R.W. Buss( A portrait of dickens)
4. Take a Break — Fitzroy Tavern
London is famous for its pub culture, there are many pubs in London to hang out, some of the best pubs are The Mayflower Pub, The harp, etc. It's at 16 Charlotte St., W1 (tel. 020/7580-3714).

5. Charing Cross Road
London's bookselling center, this is the place where secondhand stores and other antiquarian dealer stores are located. Marks & Co., as placed in 84 Charing Cross Road, is gone now, but its former location is marked by a brass plaque.
6. Westminster Abbey
Poets' Corner contains the grave of Shakespeare as well as memorials to many of the UK's most celebrated writers, including Geoffrey Chaucer, Jane Austen, and John Milton.

7. Shakespeare's Globe
This is the perfect place to admire some British theater and spend an evening. This place is entertaining people form 1997. The original theater was made in 1599 and destroyed in 1613 in the fire. The address of the location is- London, SE1, UK
8. Her Majesty's Buckingham Palace-
Buckingham Palace was created in 1837 and has been the London residence of the Royal Family since Queen Victoria's accession(1937). The last major structure was added in the early 20th century. The interior of Buckingham palace is full of artwork, Some of those are created by Rembrandt, van Dyck, Rubens. This enormous palace has a total of 775 rooms including 188 staff rooms, 92 offices, 72 bath rooms, 52 principal bedrooms. The ceremonies of giving knighthood take place in the ballroom.
