When you will get out in the streets you will find yourself in a dramatic atmosphere. Indian people are very friendly, they are always eager to help you. And there are lots of travail destinations that you can not cover in a few days. The delicious mouth-watering street foods will satisfy your tongue. 

1. Take enough time to visit a place-

Most foreign tourists don't take enough time to visit a place, that is why they can not reveal the beauty of the place. A single place in India consists of so many things to see that it take much time than you think. To enjoy a place takes enough time to visit.

 2. The festivals-

You can not find a single person who has not heard of Holi and Diwali. So before visiting India choose your tour time wisely. If you are coming to India you should not miss the colour of Holi and the firework of Diwali. There are also many festivals that you can enjoy. Like, in Kolkata Durga puja is a sensation and in Mumbai Ganesh Chaturthi is the most celebrated festival. If you want to experience Indian culture then you should prefer festive time.

3. Travail destinations-

It is impossible to visit all over India in one month. So you can break your tour in several portions, like North India, South India, Northeast, Rajasthan, Bengal, etc. Each part of India has many things to experience. You should be concerned about the weather also. North India is hard to visit in winter as well as South India or Rajasthan to hard to visit in summer. 

4. Show respect to culture and religion-

Indians are very sensitive to their culture. So you should show respect to cultures. Like, take your shoes off before entering a temple or don't show to much affection to your partner publicly. 

5. Dress code-

Dresscode is an important topic that most of the foreigners overlook. There is no restriction on your dress in India but you better be dressed properly. Also in temples and mosques, you may cover your head to show respect for their religions. 

6. Homework- 

Do some homework before visiting India. Note down the contact numbers of local authorities, book hotel rooms, reserve train tickets, do research about tourist spots.

7. Beware of spam-

Stay concerned about spam people, a pickpocket. Keep safe your passport and other documents. Though Indian people are friendly and welcome their guests like a god, there are always some bad people so your safety should be in your hand. 

8. Try local foods-

If you are going to India for the first time then you should try local foods. You should prefer a restaurant to try local food. Usually, street food is good, but restaurants are more preferable for good quality foods.

9. Make currency change-

Don't keep a larger amount note, always try to have changed. Usually, small venders, rickshaw drivers don't have change for larger amounts so keep changes with you. 

10. Get local sim-

Your sim will not work in India, there are Indian sims that are reliable. 

11. Water-

Drinking water is a serious issue in India. Only buy bottled water for drinking because tap water is contaminated.

12. Use ATM for currency-

You can use Paypal to convert your dollar or euro into rupee. Atm is a good option to withdraw money. You can withdraw 10000 rupees at a time.

13. Leave the cities-

Indian villages have their own beauty. You can feel it only if you visit villages. Far from the noise of cities nature and fresh air will be welcoming you in villages.

14. Temples-

India is full of temples, you can hire a 'panda' or 'pandit' to visit temples. If you are a devotee then Indian temples are for you. You will be in a spiritual atmosphere that will mesmerize you. It is a bit noisy inside a temple but if you are an art lover then you will find many interesting sculptures, artworks inside the temples. Keep some coins with you to donate in temples and the beggars.
